How to eat ShabuShabu

Welcome to Maruyoshi!

One of the Japanese hot pot dishes that dipps thinly sliced meat several times into hot soup to heat, and eat it with boiled food
such as vegetables, tofu, konnyaku noodles, and so on with sauce.

1.There are two sauces: 「Ponzu Vineger (Japanese sauce made primarily of soy sauce and citrus juice)」 and
「※Sesame Sauce」. Put green onion to your liking you.

※Sesame sauce is Maruyoshi’s original with more than 30 ingredients including peanuts fried in butter, miso, and apple.

2.When soup stock is boiled, take out kelp from the pot.

3.Dip meat twice or three times into boiled soup stock until it turns to pale pink. Drain the soup stock from the meat and eat it with sauce.

4.Skim off the scum that rises to the surface of the soup frequently. When you put meat to hot soup, a lot of scum rises.

5.Put vegetables that are hard to cook in the pot first (carrot, shiitake mushroom, and white part of the Chinese cabbage) and eat them with sauce (Tofu is ready to eat when it rises to the surface).
